Working with Bolton Council, we will help deliver targeted highways improvements to enhance connectivity across the local area. The site is well positioned to access both local and strategic transport networks, offering excellent links to Farnworth, Bolton, Greater Manchester and the wider North West.
Key routes such as the A666 to the east, the A58/A676 to the west and the M61 to the south provide strong road connections and will help minimise disruption during construction.

Accessibility
Building a strong sense of belonging and community
The scheme will also promote safer, more efficient travel by improving junctions, enhancing pedestrian and cycle routes and supporting better access to public transport. The site benefits from excellent pedestrian connectivity to surrounding areas, close proximity to the National Cycle Network with routes into Bolton town centre and nearby access to Moses Gate and Farnworth railway stations, both within cycling distance. A frequent local bus service to Bolton further strengthens the site’s accessibility.
By encouraging interaction and providing places to meet, walk and take part in community life, the development will help build a strong sense of belonging and contribute to the wellbeing of the wider area.
